France’s 4th largest city, Toulouse is full of beautiful red-brick buildings that have earned it the nickname Pink City. The focal point is Place du Capitole, a large square lined by restaurants and the grand Capitole building which is spectacularly lit at night. Equally impressive at night is the Pont-Neuf, a 16th-century bridge spanning the Garonne River.
This remarkably green city has many tree-lined boulevards and parks with shade. It has a laid back, almost alternative vibe, perhaps due to its huge student population. The cuisine is also fantastic – try the regional duck and the cassoulet.
Must-see Toulouse sights include the UNESCO World Heritage-listed, 10th-century Basilica of Saint Sernin and the Georges Labit Museum, a fascinating collection of Asian and Egyptian artifacts. Record-breaking Stade Toulousain rugby union club is also based here – catch a match to experience the Gallic passion.
Out by Lasbordes Airport is Cité de l’Espace, a space-themed amusement park that's great for kids. Another aviation-related feature is the city’s main industry - the Airbus-EADS factory, just north of Toulouse Blagnac Airport. Book in advance for a tour that includes the Airbus A380 production line.
To complete your stay, Booking.com has a range of Toulouse accommodations from hostels to motels and hotels.

Toulouse is a brilliant city with many things to do, yes it is expensive but we had an amazing time and visited many galleries and museums. I would highly recommend buying the Tourist pass as we saved a lot of money.

It is so easy to get around.
It is so easy to get around. As expected, it feels more like a "real life city" than the craziness of Paris. More French people than tourists from 'all over'. It was busy in the shopping areas and restaurants, but it did not feel over-crowded.

Toulouse is a large and very vibrant city, with plenty of art, architecture, history, and music. We go for the opera, and I have not taken an opportunity to explore beyond the Place du Capitole. Driving can be difficult because of one-way streets at crazy angles, and the GPS is never up to date as roads are closed and directions are changed.

When going out from the hotel I had the feeling I was already in someone else’s way like a pedestrian or even a car. At the same time , I was next to a restaurant table and trash containers. Beware of dog poo everywhere.
Overall I found this city to be quite dirty and not taken care of properly.
The things I liked were the historical places like the convent, the churches and the capitole. It is also nice to see small businesses supporting local artists and artisans.

Beautiful city with old architecture, especially in the old center. Very lively in the evening, especially considering the number of students who work and live in the city. Central to South-West France, there is a very large choice of very good restaurants for all budgets.

Beautiful city - lovely historic buildings and the river and canal walks were excellent.
Great selection of places to eat and drink and the city citizens were friendly and welcoming.
Was great to see how many people used non fossil fuel forms of transportation and the public transport was super efficient and inexpensive
My first visit to Toulouse and my stay at Hotel Albert 1er was very pleasant. The location was superb, right in the city centre and within walk in distance of most of the attractions in the city. The room was very clean and comfortable. The staff was very attentive and friendly. And I really enjoyed the breakfast, which most times can be disappointing but this time was provided with local produce, and healthy options and it was very varied. I would recommend it.
The staff are very kind and friendly. The garden is stunning and it is unusual to find a hotel with a pool in the centre of town. The breakfast was excellent, as is the cocktail bar. The location is very convenient for exploring Toulouse. The room was small but well decorated and laid out with everything you could want.
Will be recommending this place generously and will definitely return.
Great little hotel in the town centre, clean, friendly, comfortable, decorated with great taste. All the modern comfort as well as the charm of an old building. Very quiet and calm, comfortable bed. Bonus points for the amazing breakfast served every morning in the room, perfect for a lazy start of the day. I go to Toulouse often and will absolutely be staying again!
The hotel is very new, very clean. Good thermal insulation and very quiet air conditioning.
The location is close to the center and the conference center. The shuttle bus stop to/from the airport is in ~500m.
Quiet street. Large time span for breakfast (6-10, 7-11 on weekends), good choice of food, only they have not many vegetables.
Amazing location to the old city centre. The Christmas Market was outside the hotel doors. We were surrounded by narrow cobblestone streets full of shops and restaurants. The hotel is elegant, and the staff were friendly, welcoming, helpful, and professional. Our room was spacious for four people. The beds had lots of pillows.
Breakfast was great, it was my first time in France and I really enjoyed the croissants. The staff was extremely helpful despite my limited French (multiple people spoke good English). The hotel was very modern, clean and nicely decorated. It's also very close to the tram, which assisted greatly in getting around the city.
This is a good hotel in Toulouse. The staff is super friendly and helpful. the hotel is located on the outskirts of the city, so to visit the city center a car or taxi needs to be used. Near the hotel it is the local airport. The area next to the hotel is not abandoned, there is a big shopping center nearby..
The host was hospitable and the hotel was clean, quiet and comfortable, with a breakfast that was good value. The location is fantastic, near the centre of town and a short walk to the train station, which is very useful if you are only in Toulouse for a short stopover.
Helpful staff good advice given for use of tram , good carrefour in the are for purchases food etc. Right next to.tram stop for easy access to Toulouse sightseeing.also good stopover for access from airport well located -economical hotel
The hotel approximately 10 minutes walk to/from Gare Matabiau and bus station. Centrally located. Rooms very clean, beds comfortable. They accept luggage for storage prior to check in as we transited in Toulouse on our way to Lourdes.
Excellent location right across Gare de Toulouse-Matabiau, plenty of restaurants and convenience stores nearby. They can assist in storing your luggage too if you’re early for check-in. Nice size room with kitchen facilities..
The main advantage of the hotel is that it has a great location, right in the centre of Toulouse.
The staff spoke pretty okay English.
The bedsheets felt clean and fresh.
The breakfast is not great but not too bad either.
The best bet to stay in Toulouse - Residhotel Toulouse Centre is really the most comfortable option to stay in Toulouse. Central location, clean, very amabile staff. Very good connection to the airport.
Small room. Right across the street/canal from the train/bus station. Easy shuttle to airport. Walking distance to all Toulouse sites, cafes, restaurants, etc. Great breakfast. Quiet. Good WiFi.
Location was central in the heart of Toulouse close to St George Square. The room was modern and clean. The bathroom and particularly the shower was very nice. Parking was underneath the hotel.
The location was brilliant, just a short walk to lovely cafes and restaurants and the centre of Toulouse. The hotel garage was so secure and the staff very friendly and informative.
Fantastic room in a perfect location. We’ve stayed in the centre of Toulouse a few times and this was the first time at this hotel. And it was just perfect
