The location - on a hilltop with fantastic views of a medieval village on one side and a river on the other. Of course a car is essential to get there comfortably. The hosts/staff - very warm, attentive and cheerful The food at the restaurant at dinner and breakfast was top quality and elegantly served. Rooms were large and comfortable, and I liked the Nuxe toiletries (would have appreciated something more than just body lotion though). Electric car charging points.

Built in 1890 and surrounded by a big park, this hotel features a bar and free Wi-Fi internet access. The highlight of our stay was the conversations with the owners of the hotel. Absolutely charming people! Very helpful with dinner recommendation (Le Lissier) which by the way was really good. Eric kept us entertained and Lisette kept us informed, as we talked about France, property and much more. Very interesting and useful. If we're in Aubusson again we will definitely stay there again! PS Great room, great breakfast too.

The staff was lovely, friendly and helpful. Rooms were very clean. Not too far from train station. Nice neighborhood with an organic grocery store nearby. It is also around the corner from one of the funkiest bars we've ever encountered Bar Le Limousin. Breakfast was lovely with a large selection of goodies. Overall It was comfortable enough to allow us to enjoy Limoges.

This place has the BEST cheeseboard I've ever seen. I fact if you're eating in the restaurant ask to see the cheeseboard first because you'll want to leave plenty of room Our dogs were welcome in the room and in the restaurant, and the grounds are wonderful for dog walking

The cabin was great! Had everything we needed and it was lovely sitting outside on the decking, with the sound of the river flowing beneath us, and trees all around us! A beautiful spot. The cabin is only a short walk across the footbridge into the pretty little medieval town of Beaulieu-sur-Dordogne. Several bread shops, several bars and restaurants and an Intermarche supermarket just outside town. We loved it.
